Terms of Use

Conditions of use for the Moclick Bridge platform.

Document under legal review

The terms applicable to your engagement are those of the signed contract with Moclick, which prevails over any text on this page. To receive the current version of the terms, or to clarify contractual conditions, contact the commercial team.

Purpose#

Moclick Bridge is a conversion tracking and attribution platform and a programmatic media delivery platform. Access is granted to contracting clients, on the terms and for the period defined in the contract.

Use of the platform#

License#

A non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license is granted to use the platform and install the tracking tag on the declared domains, limited to the term of the contract and to the purposes set out in it.

Tag installation#

The tag may only be installed on domains owned by the client or under its declared administration. Installing it on a third-party domain without authorization, and modifying the distributed code, are both prohibited.

Prohibited conduct#

  • Generating artificial clicks or conversions, by any means
  • Attempting to access data belonging to other clients of the platform
  • Sharing access credentials or the postback token with unauthorized third parties
  • Reverse-engineering the platform beyond what the integration requires
  • Using the platform for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights

Credentials and token#

The client is responsible for safeguarding its credentials and the postback token of each campaign. The token allows conversions to be recorded on the corresponding campaign and must be treated as a credential: kept server-side, out of repositories and out of client-side code. Any suspected leak must be reported to Moclick immediately for replacement.

Data#

Client data#

Campaign configurations and event records associated with the client’s account remain the client’s property. The technical handling is described in Privacy and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) and in Architecture and security, including the applicable retention window.

Confidentiality#

Information provided by Moclick as supplementary documentation — the list of sub-processors, the media platforms involved in each campaign, internal specifications and commercial terms — is confidential and intended for the contracting party’s use for the purposes set out in the contract.

Intellectual property#

The platform, the tracking tag, the identification and attribution mechanisms, the documentation and the associated trademarks are owned by Moclick. The license to use them transfers no intellectual property.

Nature of the service and limitations#

Browser-side tracking is subject to limitations inherent to the medium, which the client acknowledges on engagement. The full list is in Architecture and security. In short:

  • Script blockers can prevent the tag from executing
  • A user clearing cookies breaks attribution
  • A conversion on a different device or domain from the click may not be attributed
  • Browser storage policies can change and affect the attribution window
  • Because it runs in the user’s browser, it is technically possible for third parties to modify or prevent the tag’s execution

Divergence between the platform’s numbers and those of external media platforms is expected, arising from different attribution models, windows and deduplication criteria. See divergence from the media platform.

Estimated metrics

Impressions and cost shown in the dashboard are estimates derived from clicks, not measurements. They must not be used for financial reconciliation, invoicing or contractual reporting. See indicators.

Pricing and payment#

The billing model, amounts, invoicing conditions and the consequences of non-payment are defined in the contract and in the accepted commercial proposal. This documentation does not set prices.

Changes#

The platform evolves continuously. Changes affecting the integration or observed behavior are recorded in the changelog. Contractual changes follow the procedure set out in the contract.

Contact#

Contractual matters should be handled with the commercial team. Technical integration matters, with support. Matters concerning personal data processing follow what is described in Privacy and LGPD.
